How Do These Work
- The Powerpoint located at the bottom of the page titled The dangers of smoking, shows how fear can be used in a message by stating a scary truth about smokeing, while telling a person how they can escape that fate.
- The second message titled distractorrr, has a distracting background and little dolls as well as a video to watch so the viewer is distracted and forced to make a decision relying on periferal route processing.
- The third message, Two sided message, features two sides of an argument made about smoking we show how smoking is considered unhealthy, but mention that is causes stress, by showing that smoking causes more stress we show both sides of an argument, but sway the viewer in our favor.
